From the
Owner:
I have hunted in 36 states over the
last 30 years. I have treed or caught about everything that leaves a
track. I can say this much with certainty, a TOP hound in the
Canadian Rockies is still a TOP hound in the swampy Mississippi
delta or the dry ground hunting of Oklahoma. The required skill set
is the same regardless of where ever you hunt or what type of game
you are hunting.
It's the HOUND that proves the breeding Good or
Bad. If the majority of a litter make hounds that people catch game
with hunt after hunt, the litter was Good. If a hound produces
litter after litter that catches game, the hound is a producer. If
those same game catching hounds consistently produce good litter’s
generation after generation then you have a BLOODLINE. There are
only a few true Bloodlines in the hound
world.
