Why Trophy Run?

Trophy Run

Named for is location on the world-class trout fishing headwaters of Lake Taneycomo, Trophy Run property includes 900-feet of secluded waterfront with incredible wade and drift fishing opportunities. Plus, exceptional warm water bass fishing is less than one mile away at Table Rock Lake!

Lake Taneycomo

Trophy Run occupies an ideal location along the upper three miles of Lake Taneycomo where bait and lure restrictions apply and fly fishermen can find desirable isolation thanks to towering bluffs and limited commercial development.

Famous for brown and rainbow trout fishing, Lake Taneycomo is described as a "football trout stream" meaning that it can produce big, fat, football shaped fish because of its tail water and incredible scud and sow bug populations -- the trout's primary food supply. It's a simple, but rare recipe for giant fish. The current Missouri state record brown trout was caught in Taneycomo weighing in at 27 pounds 10 ounces. The Missouri Department of Conservation stocks both rainbow trout year round and brown trout annually.

Table Rock Lake

Table Rock Lake, a 50,000-acre warm-water lake nationally known for bass fishing, water sports and scenic Ozark shoreline, is less than one mile from Trophy Run. Great numbers of largemouth, smallmouth, Kentucky spotted bass and white bass thrive in its diverse underwater structure and immense forage base. Bass, crappie and large bluegill are caught in abundance. Catfish of all sizes roam the lake bottom. There are hundreds of regional and local tournaments held on Table Rock Lake each year including a major B.A.S.S. tournament. Missouri state record white, hybrid black and spotted bass have been pulled from these waters as well as a paddlefish weighing in at over 139 pounds!
